Sponsorship in competitive cycling is nothing new. But combining two brands that have similar mindsets and ambitions is something that rarely happens.
Ambitiously, the team decided to offer a partnership with Red Bull. A great pitch not only has some good spreadsheets in it, but it will also wow the recipient. To do just that a prototype design of the kit was developed.
The livery combines the blue from Red Bull and yellow from Vänt. Not so coincidentally, the ridiculous flames manage to be both ironic and awesome at the same time, with direct inspiration from the Thrasher Magazine logo and from the flames emoji (‘it’s lit’).
